No, but the leak and climate sensors will not work without the Wyze Sense Hub (available with a subscription to Wyze Home Monitoring). If you have a hub but no active subscription, you will still be able to use your leak and climate sensors.

The range is up to 500 feet in ideal conditions. Please keep in mind that walls and other interference between the sensors and hub may decrease this range.
