WYZE BATTERY RECYCLING

Putting any battery into the trash is dangerous for the environment and may violate the law where you live. Follow the information on this page to safely and responsibly recycle your battery powered Wyze products. We appreciate your help in protecting the environment.
All rechargeable batteries have a limited lifespan and eventually may need to be recycled. However, you can maximize the battery life of your Wyze products by taking the following steps:
- Turn off battery powered Wyze products when you are not using them.
- Avoid using battery powered Wyze products outside of their operating temperatures.
The Wyze Band should not be used below 32°F or above 113°F.
The Wyze Cam Outdoor should not be used below -4°F or above 122°F.
1. BATTERY WARRANTY
Wyze’s one-year limited warranty may cover the repair or replacement of a defective battery. For more information about the limited warranty and to learn how to initiate a warranty claim, see our Return Policy and Limited Warranty Terms.
2. RECYCLE LOCALLY
To support your ability to recycle locally, Wyze participates in the Call2Recycle industry steward program. To find a Call2Recycle location near you where you can drop your battery powered Wyze product off for recycling, visit the Call2Recycle drop-off locator.
Before you recycle your Wyze product, be sure to remove any SD cards and perform a factory reset on the device. For more information about how to perform a factory reset, visit our Help Center.
2. RECYCLE WITH WYZE
If you’re unable to recycle your battery powered Wyze product locally, send it to us free of charge and we'll see that it is properly recycled. For more information on how to send us a battery powered Wyze product for recycling, please fill out a support ticket with "Recycling" as the support topic. You are responsible for complying with all shipping instructions we provide.
Before sending your Wyze product to us for recycling, be sure to remove any SD cards and perform a factory reset on the device. For more information about how to perform a factory reset, visit our Help Center.
