Wyze Scale X is a smooth update to our original Wyze Scale, and includes Baby/Pet Mode, updated heart rate monitoring technology, longer battery life, and a fresh new look in black and white.

Not wet, but damp is fine. Wet feet may affect accuracy and make the scale slippery and not safe to use. If wet, wipe down the scale and your feet before stepping on.

Yes, BIA may affect your pacemaker. The smart body analyzer in Wyze Scale X circulates a small electric current through your body to calculate your body composition measurements, like Body Fat %. Though the current is weak, it can affect your pacemaker. However, your Wyze Scale X can be used even if you wear a pacemaker or are pregnant. If you turn on the Only Measure Weight setting, the current will be disabled and the scale will not affect your pacemaker. Set the scale to only measure your weight. Unlike other smart scales, Wyze Scale X has a unique feature that lets you disable the BIA measurement entirely to only measure weight. With this option turned on, the scale will not affect your pacemaker. To enable the Pregnancy/Weight-Only Mode: Open the Wyze app and tap Wyze Scale X. Tap on the gear to open Scale Settings. Tap Users, then select your email address to open the Account Info screen. Tap the slider next to Pregnancy/Weight-Only Mode, then Yes to confirm.

Home-use smart scales are designed for reference. Wyze Scale X uses bioelectric impedance analysis (BIA) to estimate body composition, particularly body fat. BIA is a popular method to estimate body fat percentage, but there are many other methods available. While a good estimate, the data calculated by your Wyze Scale X may vary from those given by professional-grade medical instruments or methods.

On the back of your scale, find the UNIT button under the battery cover. Press and hold this button for 3s until the LED display shows "Clr".

No, only use the scale on a hard, flat surface like tile or hardwood flooring before use. Carpets and rugs can affect the calibration of your scale, giving you inaccurate measurements.

Consult your physician first. By default, Wyze Scale X sends a weak (and safe) electric current through the body for Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA). There are no known risks with using BIA while pregnant, but body composition results may not be accurate. Set the scale to Pregnancy/Weight-Only Mode to only measure your weight, and disable the BIA measurement entirely.

Based on our testing, Wyze Scale X has a Bluetooth® range up to 32 feet (10 meters) when clear of physical obstacles or the other wireless devices.

Yes, open the Wyze app and connect to your scale. When you replace the batteries, the time on the scale resets. Connecting to it in the app will sync up the time.

No, as each user can only access their measurements within their own Wyze account. However, while you are not able to share your data within the Wyze app, we do support exporting your data via email. This will allow you to export your data into a spreadsheet to share with your healthcare professional, fitness coach, etc.

Yes, even if you have other family members on your Wyze account, your scale measurements will only be sent to your user profile in the app. Wyze Scale X is able to differentiate up to 8 user’s measurements as long as their weight difference is greater than 13.2 lb with the app closed, or greater than 6.6 lb with the app open.

No, the app does not have to be open. Step on the scale with the app closed, and the scale will store your data until you connect to it with your phone. Once connected via Bluetooth®, the scale will sync and upload your measurements to the app.

Yes, if you’ve taken your measurements with the Wyze app closed, the scale will store your data until you connect to it with your phone. Even if someone else steps on it and connects to it first, your measurements will not be shared and will only go to your user profile.
